I don’t believe good marketing starts with being louder.
It starts with clarity - understanding what matters, what doesn’t, and where your energy is best spent.
My approach is calm, creative and strategic. I work closely with clients to untangle the marketing side of their business, clarify direction and then support the work of bringing that direction to life - through brand, digital and ongoing marketing support.
No two businesses are the same, and neither is the way they should show up.
About Rachel
I’m Rachel Hollier, the strategist and designer behind The Design Cure.
I’ve spent more than 25 years working across brand, marketing and design, supporting big and small businesses, creative practitioners, consultants and not-for-profits across Australia.
Before The Design Cure, my husband and I founded and ran a specialist retail marketing agency in Sydney for eight years - a business we grew and later sold when we relocated interstate. The Design Cure has now been established for over a decade and continues to evolve alongside the clients I work with.
Today, I work as a strategic partner to my clients - often acting as a central point that brings together strategy, design, digital and marketing thinking in a way that’s cohesive and manageable.
Where specialist support is needed, I collaborate with trusted creatives and technical partners - but I remain your main point of contact, helping keep everything aligned and moving forward.

Smart strategy and professional branding shouldn’t be reserved for large businesses or big teams.
For more than two decades, I’ve woven this work around real life - raising four children, moving cities, renovating homes and building businesses along the way. That experience has shaped how I work and what I value.
